Shadowbrook Neighbors is a volunteer group, whose aim is to connect owners and residents and help create a sense of community. No membership commitment is required and everyone is welcome.

During the state-of-emergency in the spring of 2020, several members of the Shadowbrook Neighbors group began sewing reusable, washable, cloth facemasks, which were made available to all our Shadowbrook residents. Some 200 masks were made and distributed within Shadowbrook by our ‘Masked Masters,’ as well as to the larger South Hadley community, for food pantry, food service, and veterinary workers, and others. That’s a lot of sharing, and we are grateful to have such creative and compassionate neighbors! Throughout the pandemic, the group organized occasional meet-ups on Zoom, along with some socially-distanced outdoor gatherings to keep in touch.

In recent months, the group has resumed monthly meetings, as well as lunch outings and occasional meet-ups. Everyone is welcome!
